Nikhil was born on June 28th,2007 at 10.57 AM at Malar Hospital ,Adyar ,Chennai.Dr.NR was my doctor then... I underwent c-section as there was no pain for me even after the due date. His birth star and raasi -Anusha natchathiram ,viruchiga raasi.
We were all so excited on his arrival but i happened to see him close by my side that evening around 6.30 PM same day. His appa was so happy..double happy paiyan poranthathula... I could remember him showing his hands like flying in air coz of his birth..I was inside Post Operative Ward after his birth.He was showing me from outside the glass :) We have now become proud young parents of Nikhil !! Nikhil means COMPLETE... he of course made our life Complete :)
Nikhi's Pediatrician was Dr. G.Prabhakaran , malar hospital .. we take nikhi to him for most of the vaccines and also for regular check ups... he is such a good doctor but alanthu thaan pesuvaar ..we need to wait to hear words from his mouth..but a great doctor he is! We also go to Dr.Mohan velachery pediatrician.
We came home by July 2nd... he was given a bath by Then chithi..his chinna paati... for the first time..
Nikhi's speciality was he used to keep his neck straight like a kokku which other babies would rarely do..he used to move his neck back and front so easily at 2 to 3 days of his birth itself!!
All of us were excited and specially wen i was in my amma veedu... he being the first grand kid... we were all busy running for him and taking care of him... Mummy used to take care of nikhil whole nights... he used to sleep during the day time and awake during night time... i used to sleep and nikhi appa and mummy and ashok mama used to take care of nikhil cuddling him and trying to put him to sleep..
13th Sep 2007 -- first day nikhi had a spoonful of water.. the Elixir of life!
